The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Whole Person Health

This presentation will use a biblical foundation to explore the role of
emotional intelligence (EQ)  in whole person health. It will explore
evidenced based distorted patterns of thinking that may contribute to
health problems such as anxiety, depression, as well as conflicts in
relationships. The session will also provide participatns with practical
examples on how to manage their emotions and how to use interventions
that will assist others in the prevention and healing for depression and anxiety.

The Church as a Center for Health and Wholeness
in the Community

This seminar will explore how the local church can regain
its role in the community as the center for health, wholeness,
and restoration by incorporating an effective health ministry program.
Concepts of working with the pastor, the parish/faith community
nurse, and other ministries in the congretation will be explored.
